"my wife and I enjoyed thoroughly our stay; our room (1621), on a "Golden Circle"(?) floor was very comfortable, superbly appointed, with a great river view. Having stayed recently at The Oriental, I would grade our accommodations at The Shangri-La superior. Your heralded and inviting reception/cocktail lounge off the main lobby and overlooking the river responded to its reputation, as did the lower cafe and riverside terrace, where we had superb buffet breakfasts. The choice of fruits, my preference, were the best i have seen in Asia. As a tennis player, i welcomed being able, with the hotel pro(s) to play every day on the first-class courts.
In summary, congratulations! We will certainly return!"
